After leaving Bosque Del Apache, we spent the night at Oliver Lee State Park south of Alamogordo, New Mexico. The next day we spent a part of the morning visiting White Sands National Monument.
After visiting White Sands we drove on to Balmorhea State Park in Texas, where we had a very colorful sunset.
