Costa Rica - Part 11

We saw lots of different kinds of butterflies, most of which would not cooperate for photography.  Here are a few I was able to get shots of.






This one has an amazing disguise with the wings closed.




We also saw some other very interesting insects.





On one hike we found this colorful little frog.


But we did not see any snakes



At the lodge, Coatis (related to racoons) were very common and used to people.




The Coatis were very interested in finding ways to get to the fruit put out on feeders for the birds.
Sometimes they succeeded.
 

But usually they did not.





We found this minature delivery van to be very cute.
