On another early morning we went to visit the Artist Paintpots thermal area.
Again it was a frosty morning.
One of the paint pots tends to spit out blobs of mud.
Signs warned of the mud splatter and the boardwalk showed evidence of how far the mud could fly.
It is a small thermal area with some pretty features.
