From our campground, we could see NASA facilities on Merritt Island across the Indian River.
The Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center is one of the largest buildings by volume in the world. This was originally built to assemble the Apollo moon rockets. It was retrofitted for the Space Shuttle program and is being modified again for the Orion project.
We visited the Blue Heron Wetlands at Titusville's water reclamation facility.
