Our primary goal for this visit to Michigan was to find some areas of peak or near-peak colorful fall foliage. The following scenes were found near Shingleton, Michigan, at the beginning of October.

After the Pictured Rocks area, we moved over to the western side of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula.
