We frequently stopped by the Flamingo Marina area as there was usually some things to see.
The visitor's center mentioned that there had been many Ospreys nesting in the area.
We would often see Ospreys flying overhead.
We would usually find an American Crocodile in the Marina. Southern Florida is the northern end of the American Crocodile's range and one of the few places to find both American Alligators and American Crocodiles.
There were often Manatees feeding in the marina. But since they often only put their nostrils above the murky water, it was hard to see much of them.
This inflatable dingy was in the water a little too long!
