After Seward, we decided to spend Labor Day weekend in Homer, Alaska. Homer is a popular fishing town and is known as the Halibut Capital of Alaska, so we bought halibut and salmon for our motorhome freezer. Homer is also situated at the mouth of the very scenic Kachemak Bay.
A couple of views across Kachemak Bay
There were a lot of fishing boats sailing in and out of the harbor.
Where there are fish, often there are Bald Eagles.
Something in the water was attracting this concentration of gulls. A few were diving after something in the water.
