As we made our second trip up Figueroa Mountain Road, Grass Mountain looked more promising.
The Fiddleneck flowers were definitely starting to be on display.
We started seeing a fair number of Blue Dicks (Wild Hyacinth).
We also saw some lovely tiny Red Maids.
Groups of California Poppies were getting common.
We found our first Chocolate Lilies of the year.
More Buttercups were blooming.
As well as more Shooting Stars
Bigelow's Coreopsis
"The Hillside" was starting to look much more promising.
The wet winter had brought out some mushrooms.
Near the end of the still closed road was some Manzanita and fresh snow.
