Cumberland Falls

One of the placed we visited while waiting for our motorhome build to start was Cumberland Falls State Resort in south central Kentucky.  Cumberland Falls is called "The Niagara of the South", and is famous for moonbows during a full moon.

We had breakfast at the DuPont Lodge with the park.  One wall of the dining room had huge plate glass windows and outside the windows were bird feeders hanging from the roof.

The squirrels had learned to climb down the cords holding the feeders from the roof.

We saw a number of birds, including this bright American Goldfinch.
